Our department has been invited again to the event at Pearl Ridge Center near TJ Maxx called, “Celebrate Safe Communities” sponsored by the US Attorney’s Office, the State AG’s Office the C&C Pros Office, Weed and Seed and HPD who for the second year (in recent years). Again, we have risen to the occasion and provided the community with information and lots of visual aids to educated them as to what we do for them and how we help keep Hawaii safe and happy!
We were able to bring out more assets and we are very hopeful that with our Harbors Section in the family we will be able to showcase our water Bourne assets next year!! Much appreciation to Central Patrol, Special Operations, Fugitive Unit and Canine Unit and Circuit Court for loaning equipment from their operations and deputies, Gavin Ching, Paul Ano, Greg Mayo (and their K9 partners), Lovelee-May Kaleikini, Alvin Turla and Michael Oakland for being there, helping set up and the positive experience they gave the public during this large multi-agency event!!

PLEASE consider helping for any and all events when volunteers are asked for and if you have an event you want to do or start up, please let your department head know and we will work with you and know that this is the way the public learns who we are, what we do for them and how we gain support with law makers and others!!
