“Say Hi” Program

Today’s event “SAY HI” program was very successful. We were joined by HPD’s District 3 command, patrol and Community Policing, Narcotics K9, SSD K9 and Solo Bikes. We had approximately 150 students ranging from kindergarten to 2nd grade. This was our 5th year and it was awesome and rewarding to interact with the children and teaching staff and also with fellow law enforcement  officers. We hope that our continued presence throughout the schools and communities, educating the public, will have a long lasting impression.

The director has given support to try to get department designed items we can give away in the name of education/educating the public, so we are actively looking at things to get that launched. Everyone should feel encouraged to get out there and participate in an event.

MAHALO’s

Mahalo Nui Loa again to Deputy Jim Barnes and Deputy Shane Souza for his assistance because it sure looks like we were well received, and the children were happy!!

Successful Outcome and Future Initiatives

PLEASE consider helping for any and all events when volunteers are asked for and if you have an event you want to do or start up, please let your department head know and we will work with you and know that this is the way the public learns who we are, what we do for them and how we gain support with law makers and others!!
