CISA Announces Pilot Program to Expand Scalable Cybersecurity Services to Protect Broader Infrastructure Community
November 27, 2023
To address the evolving threat of cyber-attacks across our nation’s critical infrastructure sectors, CISA has announced a pilot program designed to deliver cybersecurity shared services regularly to essential infrastructure entities in most need. The pilot program will identify entities interested in leveraging CISA-provided: commercial shared services, stress-testing their service delivery mechanisms, and demonstrating their ability to acquire, deploy, and operate cybersecurity services at scale. Per CISA’s ‘Target Rich, Resource Poor’ strategy, they are currently working with entities in the healthcare, water, and K-12 education sectors. CISA plans to deliver services to up to 100 entities. If a Hawaiʻi-based organization is interested in participating in the pilot program at no-cost, please contact the Hawaiʻi Office of Homeland Security.
