Contractor Positions Open for Bidding

Our office is looking to add two new contracted positions to our team!

Position 1: Hawaii Office of Homeland Security GIS Specialist/Analyst Contractor

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist is responsible for the development and management of the Critical Infrastructure – Common Operating Picture (CI-COP) platform to ensure compatibility with Planning and Operations Branch and its statewide Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Program guidance and standards for GIS program design, development, data integration and integrity, map production, and visualization tooling. The incumbent will serve as coordinator for systematic collection, storage, sharing, and retrieval of relevant critical infrastructure data elements and data sharing agreement documentation; analytical tool integrations/utilization; and user/user hub management under the direction of the Chief, Planning and Operations. Position 2: Statewide Cybersecurity Program Support Contractor

The contracted employee will be responsible for the following duties: • Develop and implement a collaborative framework to foster the state’s Cybersecurity Program Working Group and support the Hawaii Statewide Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan. • Collaborate with state and local authorities, private sector, and other organizations to develop and implement planning efforts towards Cyber Incident Response Plans and Exercises and the Statewide Cybersecurity Workforce Development Strategy and Implementation Plan. • Provide support to the State and Local Security Grant Program Committee. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the State and Local Security Grant Program and the timelines relevant to its Notice of Funding Opportunities and supporting deadlines for submitting investments and reporting on activities.
